Gingerbread cake with apricots & co.

I went back to my mom's and there was this amazing, massive gingerbread cake with the fruits from our garden (sorry, she doesn't grow bananas.. )

It was rich, it was filling, it was colorful, it was simple to make, it was amazing and it was made by my mom ♥

Birthday cake

This summer was all about waiting for the big 30th. I have to say to everyone who's scared - it comes and goes and you still live the way you did the day before.

The outcome of this long anticipated wait will be posted at the end of January. I know, timing is unforgivable..
